The Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) is the world’s only global scholarly society in international economic law. The SIEL Biennial Conference, one of the largest and most important conferences in the area of international economic law, will be hosted for the first time in Italy at Bocconi University. With over 150 presenters, SIEL 2020 will cover a diverse range of timely topics such as security and necessity exceptions in international trade and investment, the future multilateral trading system, the post-Brexit situation, digital trade and data governance, a future multilateral investment court, the right to regulate in international economic law, the allocation of risks between foreign investors and host states during economic crises, and regulating finance. This is a unique opportunity for publishers (print and online), law firms, academic institutions, corporations, non-profits, and others to interact with their target audiences and demonstrate their impact to the international economic law community.
