The position of Editorial Assistant of JIEL (half-time, 15-20 h/week for one year) will be available starting June 2017. 

Individuals who have undertaken this important role have usually pursued their own research, or performed the role in conjunction with work towards an LL.M. or Ph.D. degree, with part-time devoted to the Editorial Assistant position. Compensation is provided at the prevailing rates established for Research Assistants by Georgetown University Law Center. The Journal is looking for an outstanding student or professional with exceptionally good English writing and comprehension abilities, including knowledge and background in international economic law subjects, particularly the WTO.  A letter of inquiry or application (with references) including a C.V. can be sent directly to JIEL’s e-mail address:
